The mental health tele-care center
Contributions to the integrity and integration of public policies in the province of Buenos Aires (2020-2023)

The contributions of the Center for Tele-Care in Mental Health
(Cetec-SM) to the Comprehensiveness and integration of PBA public policies were evaluated, in the period from July 2020 to December 2023. The calls made from this Telemediated Assistance Center were analyzed, also describing the data of the intervention that were carried out from this care device, as well as the ways in which the articulation work were carried out with other effectors of the public health system and mental health network, showing the multiplicity of actions that contributed to the production of comprehensiveness and its contributions to an integrated health practice.
From a methodological point of view, it was a prospective,
descriptive and exploratory study that was organized into two
stages.In this evaluation process, a combined analysis of
quantitative and qualitative data was made, based on the
treatment of primary and secondary sources, and the
contributions that emerged from the semi-structured interviews
carried out within the framework of the Complete.
It was concluded: The CeTeC-SM Telemediated Assistance is
relevant, it constitutes a contribution to the Transformation of the Comprehensive Health Care Model, which was formalized in
the Comprehensive Provincial Mental Health Plan 2022-2027
(PPISM) ; It favors accessibility to the health system and
consequently the right to health and continuity of care in a
community-based manner, while enabling actions that can be
extended to integrate and strengthen the health system.
