This Open Access (OA) Journal by the Ministry of Health disseminates scientific, academic, technical, and popular science productions in the field of health sciences. It employs Creative Commons open licenses and operates through the open and collaborative Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. This system adheres to standardized protocols provided by the Equator Network for drafting different types of productions, based on the editorial policies of open and standardized journals registered with Sherpa Romeo. This Journal embraces the continuous publication of its articles in alignment with recommendations for Open Science proposed by organizations such Scielo, Lilacs, and other relevant indexing databases, interested in the dissemination and visibility of health sciences contributions.
Evaluation and revision process
First, compliance with the instructions outlined in the Guidelines for authors section and in the requirements for each document type, which can be found in the Submissions section, is verified.
After the Editorial Committee evaluates the quality and relevance, the documents undergo an external peer-review process that determines their publication.
